Bright Future Co-operative launches in Scotland
)
Bright Future Co-operative has launched in Scotland with a panel event bringing together many of our business partners, government, charities and university institutions.
Thanks to our incredible panellists: Pete Westall, our Chair and Chief Values Officer at The Midcounties Co-operative; Joy Gillespie, CEO of SOHTIS; Ilja Abbattista, Lived Experience Expert; Sharon Marsh, Area Lead at Medaille Trust; and Jessie Greenhalgh, Responsible Sourcing Manager at Currys plc, as well as all who joined us for this fantastic event.
We’d also like to express our gratitude to our hosts Amy Bond, COO of Causeway Charity and Izzie Budler, Bright Future Co-operative Manager, and to SOHTIS and Ashurst for partnering with us to make this event a success.
As we expand into Scotland, we’re excited to build on our experience in England and Wales and work towards our mission: ensuring meaningful and safe opportunities in every postcode across the UK, so all survivors of modern slavery can build a sustainable future.
To achieve this, we’re looking to partner with more organisations. Anyone interested in becoming part of our movement can get in touch with us at info@brightfuture.coop to find our more.
